Sexual Abuse has been a big hold back for many colleges/universities and society in the U.S. Not until recently has the issue received attention from the media and the authority. UCLA, a world’s top university who once was tagged as having one of the most dangerous campuses in the U.S., has taken multiple approaches against Sexual Abuse. Sexual assaults happen not just on college or university campuses. I am glad now that more schools are willing to break their silence and make their students better aware of the problems. Sexual assaults also exist among kindergartens through high schools, too. However, they are under-report due to lack of the tracking data.
Anyway, I am happy to see a top school UCLA take the initiative to honor those brave victims.
