“Saudi student Mohammad Zaid al-Fadheel was recently assaulted by an unidentified group in the state of Kentucky while driving his car,” Al Arabiya.net reported. Fadheel currently is in stable condition after surgery.
According to the report, Fadheel was struck by someone with a stick or bar that left a major cut on his head. This is the second assault against Saudi students in three months. In October of 2016, another Saudi was killed in Wisconsin due to a hate crime. At this point, the authority has not yet confirmed what caused Fadheel’s incidence.
